Hello, hope all is well - hope you all had a nice Easter :-)

I played pretty much every day since the last blog, I managed to run well in the 16 euro re buy on Ladbrokes and won it for the 2ND time which was gr8, such a good value comp.

I do remember on the final, I could hardly keep my eyes open, as I had no sleep the night b4, I think it's all the red bull I drink, I'm basically hooked on the stuff, and it prevents me from sleeping properly, but if I don't drink a few, I'm in a horrible mood all day, and feel like I haven't woken up properly lol.So I don't remember too much about the hands, I think it was pretty much ABC throughout and the last 3, they were pretty tight players, so I just took advantage of that and chipped away at them, until they played back me.

I was really looking forward to the Easter tourney on there on the Sunday, you started with 10k in chips and I felt it was a good structure, and with a overlay massive value. I started off well, got up to 14k just by bluffing here and there, but played relatively tight, then I find AA, I think it was on the btn, the bb calls the raise, the flop comes Q high rainbow, he leads out, so I raise he re raises me, to like 3250 and I shove all in, he has 7k behind and calls with Q8 off suit, and rivers an 8. It tilted me so hard, and in the end I got it in with QJ vs AK and lost.

I played the 20 re buy on there which was a 10k gtd, and came 2ND, so it wasn't too bad for the day.

On the Monday I played the 6k gtd on poker encore (ipoker) and came 2ND in that to get a little profit, kind of spewed that, when I 4 bet shoved with my favourite hand - 75 spades and was up against A10 off and he held.

I did not play much after that until the last couple of days, which maybe I shouldn't have, as I have not got even close in anything which is pants!!!

I have had NO runs on stars for what seems like AGES and it's really starting to annoy me, My backer let me play the satellite for the UKIPT in cork, thought if I could bink that, then I could have a nice break away so kill 2 birds with 1 stone, but that was not meant to be, when I squeezed with AJ clubs and the guy who flat called the original raise took me on with 66 and held....

I have took advantage of the bonus they were offering with the free scoop ticket, so I have a couple I can play, and will have to see if I'm allowed to play any others.

Tomorrow afternoon @ the Big Slick in Croydon is a £100 f/o with a 6k gtd - 15k chips and a 30 minute clock throughout, should be a good comp, it had 75 runners last week, it starts at 5pm so if you fancy a good comp, you should head down there.

The 7Th of May I will be heading up to Dusk till Dawn to play the £300 monthly deep stack, I am hoping for a really good run in this, as this year hasn't been great for live tourneys, so hopefully I go far, and get a nice holiday weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee lololol.

I want to try grinding harder than ever before, my mum has been pretty ill, she has had some serious operations and still has not recovered fully, it would be nice if I could earn enough to give her money each month so she does not need to work, in my way this is how it should be anyway, she has bought me up throughout my childhood, I just want to make sure she stays around for as long as possible.

I hope everyone watched the wedding at the weekend, and I thought she looked great and they kept it quite normal too, which was good.

Live pokers & Headaches

Hi der! hope your all OK...

As a result of winning the 200 on Ladbrokes the other week, I asked Bankroll Supply if I could use some of my profit to play the Monte Carlo, they said it was OK, maybe this was a poor decision on my part, but I wanted to play it, and felt if I could get chipped up, I would have as good a shot as any to win it.

Everything was going OK on Day 1, until I lost a big pot with KJ on a KJ3 board vs Q3 off, which turned a 3 ...

Day 2 and I had 45k, knew I needed to make something happen, I woke up feeling crap, was not the best preparation for a 1k tournament, my back was killing me all day, I could not get comfortable sitting there.

Anyways I have about 80k at this point, and a guy opens for 7.5k, a shorty goes in for 18k, I am in SB with AJ, I decide to isolate and move all in, the O/R calls with AK, *gulp* until the turn comes a Jack and I dble up.....

Julian Thew gets moved to my table, he has a few more chips than me, and offers to swap 5% which of course I snap off....

I get tangled with a guy pre flop, and decide to drop my hand, get moved to Sunny Chatta's table, he has all the chips, and he's on my right...

At this point, I cant find anything, I lose my bottle vs a player who has Ace high, and just dwindle from then on, it was pretty sick to watch me collapse like that, in the end I find J5 off on the btn, and shove my 50k over the line, the bb calls with A6, flop A5X gg.

I did thoroughly enjoy the tournament and on a different day, I defo would have gone deeper, but that was my time...

However, it WAS JULIAN THEW'S time, and bless him, he went on and WON it for £60k! - I'm so happy for him, and obv very grateful he offered me the %. I am going to give him 5% of the next 300 I play, hopefully will be in a few weeks, as a way of saying thanks, really couldn't of happened to a nicer person.. :-)) - Sunny Chatta came a close 3rd, and from what I saw while he was on my table, he played awesome, really pleased for him too, seems a really class guy, and very good poker player :-)

So this weekend there is a really good comp on Ladbrokes, it is a £320 buy in, starts on Saturday, and is a 2 day event with a whopping 750k gtd pp, there are loads of cheap satellites running for it atm, so get on there, it defo is worth a shot!

There are a couple of good comps over the weekend on Ipoker as well, so will be mostly staying in over the weekend trying to get a good result...

I really need a result on stars too, now all the Americans have gone, maybe I got a better chance, as less runners etc, but something needs to happen soon lolol

I will hopefully be moving within the next month, I spoke to the council and they said I was 2nd on all properties I bid on this time, so they said I should near enough get the next one I bid on, atm there are no 1 bedrooms, but give it 2 weeks, I'm hoping I can get one ! The upstairs idiots have gone on holiday so I will get some peace for a week wayyhayyyy :-)


Things are moving quite nicely with the solicitors atm, hopefully this can all be sorted soon, costly, but effective. Happy Easter everybody, at this time, I think more about my dad, as this was a very special occasion for him, being a catholic etc, so hope he is having a glass of vino and a meat feast pasta up there in heaven :-)

  Last week, I continued to lose, which was not much fun, at some points, felt like crying, frustrated and annoyed with myself that I had been playing so badly..   This morning I was pretty tired, I woke up too early because the sunshine, I had been grinding online with my friend Gavlaaaaaaaa over the weekend, the change of scenery did me good. I played 2x 30 euro satellites for the £190 30k gtd on Ladbrokes and did not win a seat, and then @ the last minute found a 5 euro f/o with one 5 euro add on, and managed to ship the seat! I was card dead for a long way, and at one point thought I was going out just b4 the money, and then I got some decent cards, picked my spots well, and got to the final table, I had average chips, and took the chip lead 4 out, when I got real lucky with my 74 off suit bvb vs 55 on a 234 board, the river pinging a 7! - After that it was plain sailing, and I managed to get h/u with a nice chip lead, and the final hand was when I limped with Q6 off, it came Q,8,7, chk chk, turn J, I chk he bets, I raise he ships, I call he has J9 and we HOLD!!!

  I picked up 9000 euro for that comp, which was well appreciated as prior to today I was in about 4k$ make up, so hopefully if I don't go nutz by the end of the month I should make a profit....

  Tomorrow I am going to see my Mum, just chill out, probably go and see my Auntie as she has just moved in to a new place ... Then Tuesday, I will be playing the high roller on Ongame, as I won a seat last week for 54$, but the site crashed so did not get to play it, the only downside is I will not be able to watch Man United whip Chelsea's butts in the champions League LOLOLOL - bye bye Chelsea, you had a good run and all that, but it's your time to leave, gtfo weeeeeee.

  I will also be trying to play the 30 euro re buy satellite for the Monte Carlo, either Monday or Tuesday, I want to play this REALLY bad, as I have missed every one so far, and it looks such a sick tournament, it would be lovely to play, so one time I hope I can bink a seat!

  On the love note, ( I always have to include this lol) - I think I am going to stay single forever, and not waste my time anymore on people who do not make any effort with me, it's too frustrating, and very upsetting, I am not going to try anymore, nor put men first in my life, I feel there is no point wasting my life away over someone that clearly has no interest in me.

Swings and Roundabouts

Hi all, hope your all good... I have been playing constantly since we last spoke, I have lost every live comp I have played, and also tried to change the habit of a lifetime and try winning @ live cash, which I spectacularly failed at. Overall month of March I won for Bankroll Supply, not as much as I wanted to tho, the last 10 days have been pretty much horrific, mostly due to just playing terribly :-( On stars still in a little bit of make up, not too severe tho, so hopefully will get a result on there sooner rather than later. Last night, I was up for the grind ahead, I had a bigger schedule on stars, being as it was a Sunday, and I was looking forward to it. I qualified for the Sunday Warm up on there, I still had the starting stack after 2 hrs, then I find JJ in bb, I get a re raise and a short stack shove in front of me, and decide to fold pre, was up against KK & AK, however the flop was J77 *sigh*. After that, I tried to pick up pots here and there, just re stealing pots tbh, not many gd hands the whole way through. Somehow I had got to 260kish, when I raise with AJ and the btn re raises, I have 90k more than him, so I decide to put pressure on him, we had tangled a bit b4, and I didn't actually give him any credit for a hand, he snaps my shove off with AK, the flop came AQ10, turn K - - - river - - K - so lucky to get the perfect turn card, then snatched straight away from me with a cruel river. I ended up coming 180Th for just under 700$. I also had qualified for the 200k on ipoker for Bankroll Supply, when I flop the nut straight, and get a 4 way all in, which I hold, I feel good, and am expecting a big run. Unfortunately I have 122k with blinds @1k/2k I decide to limp with AQdd, and I get the table retard (c/L who can't miss) raise it up to 8k, I'm oop, and decide to flat, not wanting to put a lot of chips in the middle pre flop, the flop comes AQ2 - rainbow, I lead out for about 10k, he flats me, @ this point I am putting him on a lower ace than me, maybe even KQ, and when the turn brings a 5, I lead again for half the pot, he calls, and the river falls a Jack. @ This point, I honestly think I have the best hand, I 100% believe I am getting called by all lower AX, even AK (if he's that blessed), and maybe even KQ, he is that bad, but but but!!! - He snaps me off with K10, GG, FML - I finish around 165Th, and do not even cash. Just couldn't believe that tbh, felt uber sickness inside. I also qualified for the Ladbrokes £320 200k gtd last night, I played solid throughout, was down to about 4500 from a 5k stack, the guy had just lost a big pot (quite a loose juice), I raise on btn with A10, he ships from BB for 3850, I call he has A9 It ends up making him a 4 card straight on turn and river, and I am left with a bowl, which I get in a couple of hands later and am out!! so irritating! As a result of me losing and losing, I am going to take a couple of days off, I fear I have lost the passion for it a bit, I am playing highly under pressure, and tbh am not sure if this is what I want to do, when it's going g8, it's the best feeling in the world, but having no real security around you, is highly stressful, and playing to win, so you can live the next month is also very pressurising. I went to the solicitors on Thursday and have been told that it is going to prove very costly, and the case will have to be conducted over in Italy as that is where my Father died, once we get recognised in an Italian court of Law, we will have equal rights for shares of everything etc, this will take a long time, a lot of persevering and a large sum of money. One good thing that had come out of all this mess, is that I am now talking with my brother again, I have asked him for some help with it, which to he has agreed, and I have put what I can towards it at this moment in time. I got stopped by the police last week, and fined £200 fine and 6 points, for having no insurance, was very silly of me, I was going to get it done within the next week, but took a risk driving it late at night, and it backfired spectacularly, truth is I can't really afford to run a car right now, tbh I can't afford to do much, as my priority's lie with paying off debts, and ploughing money into the court case. Things look pretty bleak at this moment in time, I always have faith that they will turn around, but it does get me down a lot, with the constant battling of it, I have to learn to have a back up plan, and try and keep something for a rainy day, otherwise only you, and you alone will suffer. I plan to sleep, hopefully for days, as I need to get my head straight, about lots of things, lots of things on my mind atm, and feeling very lonely with everything, trying to carry it all on one's shoulders is probably not the healthiest of options. Nearly everyone of the people I know were playing BBP london live this weekend, just gone, congratulations to Pete, well done to Gavlaaa, Jemma and Johnny Kelly for making deep runs too, epic field, sounded like a gr8 comp.
