Stepping up....

Hello! Hope you are all well, I have been real lazy the past few weeks, :-(

Things have been going pretty badly in terms of poker.... Played a few of the scoops on stars, and could not get deep, my best chance was the 6 max, which I built a really nice stack, but, got involved with top pair 2ND kicker and it all went a bit wrong.... did not recover from that, and ended up getting it in with 97 diamonds vs KJ and couldn't hit.

I went to DTD to play the super 50 last weekend, and came out about 10 places before the money!...... I messed that one up 2, when I got involved in a pot with a guy who woke up with aces...mbn to be him....... I played ultra aggressive in that comp, it worked until that hand,,,, ppl keep telling me about gear changes loloolol.

The Ecoops are back on IPoker, I managed to play the 1st one, which I came out after a few hrs getting busy with a draw and missing....I was going to play the turbo re buy last night, but fell asleep at 4pm and did not wake up!, so I played a satellite for the $750 tonight, and ended up getting a seat for $50! MBN - lololol, this is probably my best chance, as I don't think there will be too many runners, and for what I spent to get into the tourney, it is massive value for me.

Unfortunately me playing for Bad Beat did not work out too well, many factors came into it, but the biggest of all obviously is the "D" word, and it took its toll in the end.

I ended up playing the UKIPT - that was also pants, I ran QQ into KK early on, about half hr later I had been pretty active, in the cut off + 1 I raise with J9, the button re raises, I decide to peel a flop, the flop comes 9 8 5 , 2 hearts, I check he bets, turn is a 6, I heck he bets, I call, river is an 8 of hearts, I bet 1050 with the intention of calling if he shoves, which he then goes all in for 5100, I have 5600, For some reason I start doubting my reads, think for ages, and in the end I decide to pass,,,,, He flips face up 34 off, wp. Later on the same guy takes me out with KK vs 88. 90% of the time I will go with my feel there, but I lost my bottle, and it was the turning point in the tourney for me, I think the confidence factor got the better of me, who knows.

Anyway, Tonight I will be looking forward to playing the Ecoop 4, you get 5k in chips and a 20 minute clock, I will be hoping for a deep run in this and If I win, I will be flying out to Vegas for the 1st time ..... one time plz!..... I will be playing under "Iambonkers", gl to all those playing :-)
