Hi guys, hope your all OK, and been winning lots!
I played the 100 f/o at the Gutshot on Tuesday night, a whopping 160 runners made it a great prize pool with 5k going for 1st and a great atmosphere all round. Unfortunately, I did not last long, I was in the wrong frame of mind to play and did not play well at all. I slow played 2 big pairs and got what I deserved, the 2nd one, literally donated him my chips.
So on Wednesday I played online, and was in 2 comps near the end of the night, and just super spewed out of them like a total donk - doh! Was not best happy, this is something I have tried to curb for a while and thought it was working up until then zzzz
Thursday I put in a lot of volume online, I had the Vegas Team Challenge to look forward to, on Ladbrokes. There was like 600 runners for it, which made it tough as so many loose juices, but managed to bag a decent line up for it, my team consists of Sunny & Chaz Chatta, Karl Marenholz and Myself, I reckon we could have a good chance to get that Vegas package (one time let the dream come true!). I had my stack up to like 20k, then get dealt AK spades, UTG limps for 500, I make it 2500 UTG +3 - all folds to him, he calls, Flop : 6,5,Q - 2 spades, he just shoves his 10k stack in, I call and he flips K6 dd - the turn and river brick, then I get it all in with him with QJ hearts vs his K9 off, it comes KQX turn and river brick and I left around 250Th or something boooooo !
I then carried on my normal comps, and could not get any finals, min cashing in a couple, overall pretty bad night.
I asked my friend to put me in the £220 f/o @ Equal Chance, a 15k starting stack with 20 Min's blinds, and 10k gtd to the winner, I fancied my chances in this one. I got there a couple of hours early! and had something to eat, which was lovely, then got ready to play, 115 runners gave it a great atmosphere and I was really looking forward to it. The poker gods had something else in mind for me tho, I could not hit a single flop, and when I did hit top pair or something, the guys behind always had stronger zzz - Finally I get AK dd, make it a 450 raise with blinds @ 100/200 the guy in sb who has lost a pot ships his 4500 stack in the middle, I call, he has Q7dd - It was looking so lovely till the 7 smacked the river marvelous! - I was in BB next hand with 2500 behind, a girl raises, someone flats, I stick it in with A3 dd, they both call, and the flop comes J105 2 Diamonds, I fancy my chances at this point, but no the poker gods said NO, and the turn and river bricked and I was out the door, sigh.
Earlier on in the day, I had been to the citizens advice to enquire about finding a solicitor to represent us with my late Father's estate. They gave me a number of an Italian Solicitor's in London, which I phoned, and spoke for a while. I explained the situation and asked them to help me get an affidavit from my mum ( a solicitor has to be present) as he is not on our birth certificate, so everything is proving difficult. Also I asked if he could help me find out the exact addresses of where my father was laid to rest in Italy, as I would like to go and see him next month, and get some closure on this. The initial appointment is going to cost around £150 and then we can take it from there, this should be sometime next week, so I am hopeful about this.
After leaving the Citizen advice I was very emotional, and rang my mum and started balling my eyes out in the middle of Woking, I have found it really hard over the past year to accept that people would go this low over money, to not inform you of when and where he died etc, I never went to his funeral, and no he never financially supported us, however, he always wanted what was best for me, the last time I saw him in the hospital, he was crying my name and holding onto my hand, and he is and always will be my Dad. I really miss him at the moment, and no matter what I say or do, nothing is ever going to bring him back, I regret so many things about my life, and just wish that things had of been so different.
Part of the reason I think I am care free with money is watching him getting older, he never spent a penny, and he died lonely, so a lot of the time, I sit and think, what is the point?
My main problem is that I get very lonely at times, It's like something missing from my life, that I am craving for, I just hope I can find it soon....
Nick from the Big slick has offered to put me in the tournament there tomorrow night, this is a £50 f/o with a £2500 gtd, 20k chips and a 30 minute clock, looks to be a good one, he even said he would put some money behind the bar for a baguette and a vodka, cheers Nick :-)
OK well I'm off, hopefully I win something decent over the weekend, I have had a bad week, online and live and it would be nice to get a good score, specially on a Sunday.

Running good much?
Hi there, hope your all winning lots and enjoying life - I played a bit last week, mainly put the volume in over the weekend, and was duly rewarded...
I played the 16.50 euro re buy on ladbrokes, it is one of there best daily tourney's and has a gtd of 25k!
I had AA and KK back to back in the re buy period, that gave me a full double up both times, so that helped a lot. Half way through the tourney, I started to lose it a bit, and then reminded myself that I was level for March, so could do with a final in this lol - So started to focus more and that seemed to get rewarded to. In the end I won it, the heads up lasted one hand with me shoving 22 on the button, and he calls with A3 and I flop a set - mbn - wiiiiiiii. Took £5500 for that win, which was very nice and made my weekend :-)
Yesterday I woke up, and drove to a pub in Cobham, called The Black Swan, it does a real mean roast, had to wait 45 Min's for it, as they were packed out, but was well worth the wait :-)
Came back in the afternoon, and I had already regged for the ladbrokes main comp which was a £190+10 buy in with a 30k gtd, only about 125 runners and a 5k starting stack, I really fancied my chances in this, unfortunately, nothing could go right, and AK must have bricked out at least 5 times! - who said AK is the nutz ?? lolol :P
So I played some other stuff, and qualified for the 200k on betsafe, but no gd in that, and then luckily won the 10 re buy on ladbrokes for £1500 :-)
That comp was a gd structure, it seemed to go on forever tho!, but on final I had AA, I min raised, the guy in bb (c/l) calls, flop comes KQ3, 2 clubs, he chks, I lead for the min, he moves all in, I call he has A6 clubs, and the turn and river brick off. After that hand, I always looked like making top 2, h/u I had K9 I call his raise, flop comes A98, I chk call the flop turn is another 9, it goes chk chk, river is a blank, I chk again he fires 80k I move in he folds. Very next hand I pick up 99, I raise it he calls, the flop comes a low board, he chk shoves I call, and I hold up, sweet :-)
I played a few on stars, but still can't get a run going on there, my nearest finish was in the last 1800 of the 300k DNG, when I pick up AK and get it in 3 way vs 10 10 and A A gg.
So I finished around about 11:30pm and was not tired, so I called up my friend and decided to go into London. I want to play the £100 at the Gutshot tomorrow, so bought in, together with Mel as it's a nightmare to get to, so if a little late, not going to get tilted etc...
While there, I chatted with a few of the reg's and then played a little cash, which I lost, so we left, and went to eat in Chinatown. Had a really nice Roast Duck with rice and seasonal veg. After that, we walked past the empire, and the urge took a hold of me, and had a little spin up, missing out my numbers by a whisker!, after it coming in 18,9,18 !! :-( I back 29,28,7 mostly, so was not best pleased ... cursing as I walked out why I would do such an idiotic thing.
By the time I dropped Mel off, I got stuck in all the morning traffic zzzzz which ended up with me getting home @9am this morning!!! Really starting to feel it now, so I'm off to bed soon, am currently in 1 comp on Betsafe - 3/20 and the daily 10 re buy 17.5k on encore - 52/141, hopefully can final one of these, to make it another winning day :-)

Back to Black? lol
Well hello there, I thought I would start this up again, as I absolutely loved writing this blog before, and since I'm back playing again, would give me a way to moan/celebrate/share all the emotions etc with you guys!
It's been a while, I have not been up to much tbh, same old stuff, playing more and more recently, mainly online, sat in like a hermit, trying to make some bread and butter!! LOL
Seriously tho, I joined a staking site named Bankroll Supply about 6 weeks ago, they give me X amount of $$ over 3 different sites and I play mtt's for them, any profit at the end of the month, we split 50/50.
I started off pretty badly, could not get anything going, then suddenly, one Saturday night, I tried a satellite for a 162$ comp, and won the seat, and later that night ended up winning that comp for like $12k :-)
Pretty awesome from a initial stake of 15$ lol... The tourney was a gr8 comp, with a good structure, and at times I went off the rails, got to Final table last in chips and ended up going on a good run, and winning the thing, gr8 feeling.
I then had a couple of other small results for them, ended up making a nice profit at the end of the month, so after paying some bills and stuff, decided to buy a new computer with a couple of monitors, a desk etc, so that I can play more tables in a better environment.
Went and played a couple of live comps, but nothing happened - Atm, just can't win anything live lol!
I am also getting staked for some stars comps atm, this happened around the same time as BRS accepted me, and this is just on a one on one basis.
This started off average, then after a week I managed to win he 10k gtd 6 max for $2k, and a few days later won the 40k gtd for $7.5k.
My backer allowed me to play a couple of higher stuff, which I didn't do too badly at, played the Sunday million a couple of times as well, but both times played pretty horrible ...
The last couple of weeks haven't been that gr8, haven't played to my best, and kinda need to sort it out, as am in a bit of make up now , need to stay focused and try to put that to the back of my mind, as otherwise that will prevent me from winning anything and I'll be more likely to tilt harder.
On the personal life front, not doing too much, still looking for the love of my life (hahaha), thought I'd found someone, yet things don't always turn out the way you want, hey ho :S
Would like to go and visit Italy @ Easter, as my father was a strong catholic, so it would be quite fitting to go and see where he was laid to rest around that time, need to stay focused and start winning if this is to happen!
Anyways enough of boring you all to death, I'll try and keep this regular, and hopefully there will be lots of happy stories to tell in the near future :-)
